3rdchair believed a supportive community for young adults needed to exist. So, we looked around, and we did not see a unique place crafted to meet the needs our young adults are facing in today’s complex environment. Through that research and identifying their needs, we decided that this would be the place to champion young adults here in Michigan. We are a collective bunch of 25 counselors who specialize in counseling high school, college students, and 20-somethings. 3rdchair is a 501c3 nonprofit that ensures all young adults have access to counseling to get the help they need, regardless of their financial capacity. We’ve devoted our lives to helping young adults who might not have the support they need. This is our mission and we embrace it!
