I gravitate most towards working with individuals moving through complex trauma including developmental trauma, sexual or interpersonal violence, grief and loss, and chronic illness or disability. Furthermore, I am sex-positive and kink-allied counselor who loves working with an ‘out of the box’ client. I want to sit with clients when they are in a dark spot, laugh with them in sessions when needed, and celebrate your victories as they deserve to be celebrated. When in session, I often use a blend of dialectical behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, sexual therapy techniques, art therapy practices, harm reduction strategies, and more. I love using a mix of interventions as I believe there is no one size fits all! I am excited to work together in figuring out the best skills for you.
