Abby is a Licensed Professional Counselor at Higher Sights Counseling. She received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Central Florida and Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Rollins College. Abby also has a certificate from Rollins College in College and University Counseling. Abby has experience working with adolescents, young adults, and adults who struggle with a variety of presenting challenges such as: anxiety, depression, relational issues, self-esteem, disordered eating, identity and more identity exploration, substance use and anger management. Abby takes a person-centered and strengths based approach, while incorporating methods including EMDR, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing and Mindfulness. Abby believes that no two people are the same and ensures she adjusts her approach to best suit the needs of each individual.
