Counseling services focus on helping families and individuals build skills that increase healthy behaviors and foster resiliency. Symptoms and challenges are addressed using a CBT, DBT, Adlerian, and/or a client centered ‘strengths and solutions’ based approach. Emphasis in sessions include gaining awareness of triggers, feelings, negative self-talk and habits; learning tools to change behaviors; and rewriting new scripts that illuminate strengths, acceptance, and self-discipline. Sand Tray techniques, Play Therapy and parent/family therapy are additional approaches to help clients process emotions and progress on their goals.
