In a world where so much uncertainty and injustice is possible, feelings of overwhelm can be a natural—and chronic—response. Experiencing overwhelm can often produce a state of inertia in us where we feel disconnected from ourselves, our relationships, and our hope. Utilizing an approach that emphasizes compassion, curiosity, and belonging, we will find ways to imaginatively move past mere survival and seek the answers that can be found in the darkness. Together, we will work to restore a sense of vitality and authenticity to life, cultivating the capacity to more fully live with both the joys and sorrows.
