I maintain a full caseload at the Denver Vet Center (a subdivision of the VA) where I focus on combat related PTSD and military sexual trauma. I see individuals and couples. In my private practice, I specialize in personality disorders, particularly borderline personality disorder. I have a master's degree from Denver Seminary in clinical mental health counseling, where I also earned a certificate in theology. My undergrad degree is in philosophy. My unique background as a Mexican American Army veteran schooled in philosophy, theology, and psychology, sets me apart as a therapist.
