People have an inherent need to be understood and tell their story in order to live the life they imagine. My job as therapist is to listen, and learn from you and guide you toward better self-care, and to make the changes necessary to look inside yourself to see what might be holding you back from living a full happy life. As a licensed clinical social worker, I believe often times the things which keep us from moving forward are in our environment, such as toxic relationships, poverty, lack of education, drugs and alcohol, and past traumas.
