I have been studying and working in mental health for 25 years since 1999. Emotional suffering due to relational conflict, anxiety and depression are some of the main reasons people seek therapy. When people engage fully in the therapeutic process, they can often experience moments of transformation that can be profound and or subtle in which their experience of suffering is either alleviated or their attitude towards their situation shifts in meaningful ways.
