I have had the privilege of providing support to adults & children with a wide range of needs for over 20 years. Working at Easter Seals and the Alzheimer’s Association in Rochester taught me how to be an advocate. My time at Hospice gifted me lessons about how resilient people can be when experiencing grief. It was an honor to be trusted with their pain and joy while they shared memories. Most recently working in elementary, middle and high schools has been eye opening. Strong emotions such as anxiety and depression have increased the need for mental health services that not all districts are able to provide.
