I'm glad you reached out. My name is Deane, and it's my honor to meet you. Based in the Greater Bay Area in California, I've lived in Berkeley, Oakland, Sonoma County, Los Angeles County, Japan, and Edinburgh. Currently a clinical mental health counselor trainee with Family and Children's Counseling Services (also known as Heal Play Love), I am under the capable supervision of Melissa Haynes (MA, LMFT). We are a client-first practice above all, which means I'm here to learn how you tell me what you need from me. If I cannot help you, I know there is someone here who speaks your unique language and can help. I completed my Bachelor of Arts in German Language and Literature with the University of California Berkeley, and attended the Boston Graduate School of Psychoanalysis and now Walden University for a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Therapeutic preferences include: play, drama, humanistic, family, and dynamic modalities.
