I am a licensed clinical psychologist and have been in private practice since 2001. My practice is geared toward working with adolescents and adults in individual, couples, and family settings with a range of issues. My style of therapy is very interactive and dynamic, as well as insight oriented. I firmly believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship as helping to create the greatest change. Clients describe me as genuine, empathic, and easy to connect with. I believe in setting mutual goals with my clients as well as maintaining a long term relationship with them. I work with adolescents and adults with anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, as well as social, emotional, school, and work difficulties. I also have extensive experience working with clients and families experiencing adjustment and transition difficulties. I often work with parents and schools to help manage symptoms of emotional distress.
