Realizing you may have an addiction, and that it may be harming or even controlling your life, is scary. It is also the first step towards change. By finding the right counselor to talk to about your substance use, you can find the insight and motivation to make the desired changes you are looking for in your life. You want freedom from substances and behaviors that are causing harm in your life. I want to help. I have 10 years of experience in recovery from alcohol-use disorder and 5+ years of experience as a counselor and therapist. I support all pathways to recovery including independent, Buddhist-inspired, CBT-oriented, and 12-step programs.
