I get it, life is hard. As a highly sensitive person myself, I believed for most of my life that there was something wrong with me - until I learned what a superpower high levels of empathy and sensitivity can be. I believe it takes a tremendous amount of strength to reach out for help when feelings of hopelessness seem to take over, and I also believe that emotional vulnerability is a difficult yet courageous act of self-love and self-compassion.
