About
My approach to therapy is collaborative, creative, holistic, and ultimately focused on what the client needs. I see clients as the experts on their own lives, and my role is to walk alongside them, help make sense of what they’re experiencing, and support them in building on their existing strengths. I’m always paying attention to the full context someone is living in, their history, relationships, bodies, nervous systems, culture, and lived experiences, not just a list of symptoms or diagnoses. I draw from my background in neuroscience, social work, & community development when working with clients. I appreciate attachment-informed perspectives & I use person-centered & strengths-based approaches. I’m curious about how the brain, body, and environment interact over time, & how patterns that once helped someone survive may now be getting in the way.
