This unique population can benefit from working collaboratively with a professional who is culturally competent and understands the ins and outs of emergency service work. If you're not a first responder, that's OK too! Trauma, stress and burnout affect all of us at some time. For all the night shift workers or parents putting littles to bed, I offer appointments through 9:00pm! Prolonged exposure to trauma, irregular sleep cycles, stress and burnout are significant stressors and PTSD and EMDR are hot topics for treatment. But what is right for you? Getting an evaluation and engaging in counseling services will custom tailor the best treatment just for you, whatever the issue.
