Most people seeking counseling, first and foremost want to be heard. We live in a high stress world and many of us struggle with past trauma, relationship issues and feeling overstressed and overburdened. They want to be understood and learn how to effectively problem solve as well as seek deeper healing from past hurts in many instances. I have been working in mental health for over 35 years. I am trained in EMDR which is a trauma resolution approach that is research based. I also provide spiritually based therapy for those who wish it and specifically Christian counseling when desired. Cognitive behavioral therapy, for issues such addiction recovery is also available.
