Hello! I am glad you have found your way here. I am Alex, and I am a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, a Marriage & Family psychotherapist, and a certified IFS therapist. I find myself drawn to working at this intersection of the mind-body connection and applying this Internal Family Systems (parts work) to help clients suffering with complex trauma, including sexual trauma and emotional abuse, as well as divorce, LGBTQ+ issues, gender identity, eating disorders, anxiety and depression, self-harm, and relational problems. I currently work with many adolescents (12+), adults of all ages, couples at all stages, and many styles of families. I am a fully trained SEP, IFS Level 1 certified, and Yoga instructor.
