Therapy is almost like a car ride. You are the car's driver, and as your counselor, I will be in the passenger seat of your car ride. You will be taking the lead in your journey, and ultimately, you will decide where to go, but I will be there alongside you to help guide you in determining what route to take. The car ride might be long, or it might be short. There might be a lot of obstacles in your journey. And that's all okay. In a collaborative approach, we can work to reach your goals or "destination.
