In my practice, I believe in providing a genuine and respectful atmosphere where clients can safely express their feelings and discuss life experiences. I recognize the courage it takes to share personal concerns, and I strive to make sure that clients feel comfortable being themselves when they are with me. Cultural competence is essential to my practice as a therapist, and I believe in the importance of addressing cultural, racial, and environmental factors that influence mental health concerns. I am a licensed psychologist with experience in treating individuals with anxiety, depression, relationship problems and work/school related difficulties. I am also knowledgeable about issues related to working in academia. I help clients understand, manage and reduce their symptoms so that they can feel satisfied and productive in their everyday lives.
