I currently work as a Licensed Psychologist in the state of Minnesota. I have experience working with individuals who have struggled with substance use, severe mental illness, suicidal thoughts, homelessness, grief/loss. In addition, I have worked with LGBT+, Spanish speaking populations, older adults, and those involved in the legal system. I began my career working with children and adolescents at an outpatient clinic where I provided individual and family therapy in Spanish and English. During the first session, I focus on gathering information related to the reason for you seeking support. I ask questions to best understand what you hope to focus on now and what you hope to achieve in the long run. I make an effort to listen to each individual and help support them so that they achieve their personal goals while working together.
