Hello! My name is Alexis Resendez and I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist at Aronsen Counseling Services. I have a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University. I have thorough experience working with voluntary clients, as well as clients who have been mandated by the Department of Child and Family Services. I have worked with adults, children, and adolescents addressing a diverse range of issues such as domestic violence, bereavement, depression, relationship dissatisfaction, job stress, and eating disorders, among others. As your therapist, my hope is for you to see the possibilities for a more enhanced life and seek opportunities for growth at the pace you feel most comfortable. When working with a client, I place an emphasis on establishing a client-therapist relationship that is rooted in respect, authenticity, and warmth.
