Hello, I’m Alexis! I’m from North Dakota, but have called Arizona home since 2016. I graduated with my masters in social work from Fordham University in New York. I got my start in community mental health, where I developed a deep understanding of how trauma and stress affect the brain. When our brains and bodies are under stress, it can impair our ability to navigate relationships, with both ourselves and others. I’ve used this knowledge to help foster greater empathy and attunement in parent-child dynamics, as well as to support individuals in understanding how their attachment wounds shape adult relationships.
