I personally know what it means to provide a safe space, healing, and comfort for everyone else except yourself. I personally know what it means to put everyone else’s needs before your own, and to keep going even when you have nothing left to give. I personally know the importance of carrying labels such as the “strong black woman,” and that can be debilitating. But what if I told you that the space that you create for others, is a space you can create for yourself? What if I told you that putting yourself first, doesn’t make you selfish? Together, we can create a space that is all yours. It will be safe, warm, and secure.
