As a former collegiate athlete and nerd, I love working with individuals around life transitions, identity, self-esteem, making healthy boundaries, and anxiety. I enjoy working with couples around infidelity and communication, and with adult children and their parents. I work well with clients who are interested in learning why they think and act the way that they do, and are interested in learning how to have more agency in their lives. I believe that our relationships influence how people view, conceptualize, and behave in the world, and that having insight into how our relationships affect us can lead to our own behavior change. Through using Cognitive Behavioral, Internal Family Systems, psychoeducation, and mindfulness interventions, I help clients work with their "parts" so they can learn to better manage their anxiety/depression/anger, etc., and to empower them to take control of their thoughts and actions.
