Coming to counseling is often not an easy decision to make, and I commend you for taking the first step and researching your options. In order for the process to be as beneficial as possible, it is important that you find someone that you can trust and open up to. Counseling often involves discussing tough topics and areas in your life that you are struggling with, so an empathetic and understanding counselor is important. I am also passionate about educating students and often have student interns or PLPCs that I can refer clients to if needed.
