I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Virginia. I work with adults, (individuals and couples) to help achieve healthy relationships, ideal sexual functioning, healing from trauma, and improving depression and anxiety symptoms through CBT, the Gottman Method, and EMDR. I focus on connecting with clients in an effort to build trust and safety. From there, I utilize an eclectic approach to treatment; we can move from using CBT to DBT in a session. I focus heavily on psychoeducation because I want you to understand what we are doing and why.
