It can be overwhelming to find a therapist who fits your needs/wants, and it is essential to find a therapist who you feel safe with. Here's a bit about me: I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, working with clients ages 8+. I have 20 years experience with children, adults, and families in multiple settings, including a residential treatment center, outpatient agency, group home setting, and drop-in care center for adults w/ severe mental illness. My training includes CBT, Person-Centered Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. I am trained to assess and provide documentation to meet the requirements for gender affirming care. It's an honor to specialize in working with the LGBTQIA+ community. I strive to provide a safe, supportive, nonjudgmental space for clients. I work with clients who are exploring sexuality, gender identity, or who are trans/gender expansive. I also provide therapy for mental health concerns, such as grief/loss, anxiety, depression, and trauma.
