Alison is a queer, neurodivergent licensed associate counselor who prioritizes using a multicultural, strengths-based, person-centered approach to therapy, emphasizing genuineness, compassion, & unconditional positive regard with all her clients. She seeks to create a safe & warm welcoming environment in her office, as she recognizes therapy is a vulnerable experience no matter if it is your first- or tenth-time coming in. Alison is passionate about working with folks identifying with the LGBTQIA+ community, neurodivergent adults, as well as people interested in addressing the impact of generational trauma on their sense of self. Alison believes that all of her clients are the experts of themselves & their lived experiences, therefore she strives to collaboratively work with you to tailor your treatment goals to best suit your needs. To do so she frequently pulls from a wide variety of therapy modalities, including ACT, & CBT to foster a greater sense of self-growth & acceptance.
