About

Alix has around 15 years of experience in the field and has a passion for what she does. It is truly such a gift to not only be their for client’s during the most difficult times, but also to be there through many new beginnings. I have specialized training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Brainspotting to help process trauma stored in the body and lower emotion brain rather from a top down approach, which processes from logic brain first. I also have specialized training in Grief Therapy to support those experiencing a loss. Lastly, I also have training in CBT to treat anxiety disorders and depression. As a client, you will see that I am genuine and provide a comfortable atmosphere for a relationship to grow. I focus on what my client needs at the time and will take therapy at the pace that allows for trust and safety to build. I enjoy working with teens and adults of diverse backgrounds. I provide a safe space for individuals within the LGBTQ+ community.
