Trauma isn’t what happens to us. It’s what happens inside of us. If I have learned anything from my own pain, my clients' pain, and the failures of our current system of mental health treatment, it’s that we are constantly misunderstanding the role of traumatic experience. Together we will find a therapeutic approach that works for you and your unique experience. In order to create lasting change in our lives, we need more from therapy than a verbal exchange. Over the last ten years, I have studied and employed a variety of experiential methods to address the root causes of trauma and help individuals invite lasting personal growth. Through art making, counseling, and cutting edge eye movement therapy treatments, I help individuals resolve problematic thoughts and behaviors and find relief from overwhelming physical sensations associated with difficult or adverse experiences.
