I specialize in treatment of adults, adolescents, and families: Eating, mood, & anxiety disorders as well as family system communication and relationship challenges. I have expertise in acute individual & family crisis, personal and family trauma, parenting skills for children/adolescents, complex parent/child relationships, chronic medical illness, and grief and loss. I use family systems theory, attachment theory, trauma-informed care, cognitive behavior therapy with exposure work, and emotional fluency models. Your treatment will include my skills and experience alongside sincere care and connection toward renewal and healing. My approach will strengthen insight to understand root causes of your struggles. Together, we’ll build skills specific to your needs such as assertiveness, boundary-setting, and confident communication to express your thoughts and feelings effectively. I also provide conceptualization to foster understanding and help put words to what you are experiencing.
