Allison Mandel-Giampietro, MSW, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience supporting adults, children, and families. She earned her MSW from Rutgers with a focus on Children and Families and her BA from Queens College. Allison has worked in diverse settings including substance use treatment, veteran centers, and hospitals. She uses CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and client-centered approaches to help clients manage emotions, improve communication, and build self-esteem. Clients value her empathy, insight, and ability to inspire growth. Allison hopes her clients feel seen, heard, and understood—while learning to manage anxiety and depression through mindfulness, relaxation, and DBT skills. She aims to help them gain insight and shift unhelpful thoughts and behaviors toward healthier patterns.
