I believe we are all born with everything we need to thrive, then life slaps us in the face in an abundance of ways from a variety of directions and we adjust our beliefs and behaviors in order to simply survive. If you are here looking for a therapist, it is likely you are not satisfied with how you have adjusted to life’s various assaults. My approach to therapy is more direct, utilizes humor, and is founded in cognitive behavioral theory with a strengths based perspective. I enjoy working with clients who are motivated for something different and willing to do the hard work to get it.
