I moved to the Cape 20 yrs ago after developing a private practice in Dallas, TX. I've worked as a Director of and clinician for mental health services agencies and as a hospice social worker on the Cape before starting my own practice 6 years ago. My practice focus is adult individuals experiencing mental health concerns and reactions to life changes. Problems commonly discussed are: depression, anxiety, relationship issues, bereavement, issues of adulthood and late life. I work with clients to help them identify individual needs and then support them as they gain insight into their concerns and develop strategies for change. I have training in a variety of theraputic modalities and in discussion with you we discuss which modality would be best for you concerns. My specialty areas are listed in another section, but generally they are mental health issues (anxiety, depression) and situational issues of adulthood and late life (marital problems, grief, dementia).
