I believe that everyone wants to be let off their own hook. Oftentimes, we have been taught that there is something inherently wrong with us, both in our family systems and in society as a whole. By exploring and dismantling internalized, destructive beliefs around self-worth and value, my clients and I collaborate to instill value from within. When we are able to act from a place of self-knowing, self-love, and self-compassion, we are able to show up authentically in our relationships and in the world at large, enjoying the fruits of our emotional labor by living a life we might not have always thought possible for ourselves. I work with a variety of theories in my practice, adapting to the individual needs of my clients as necessary. Establishing and maintaining relational safety with clients is my North Star, as I believe that I can only be of service if someone feels safe enough to sit with me. Humor, levity and social justice are also foundational to my practice.
