The past informs the present to help the future. Although we are not the sum of our problems, our early experiences with caregivers heavily influence how we operate in every aspect of life. I focus on helping people to overcome the challenges of trauma and PTSD symptoms and to understand the influence of these on relationships. An important part of the work I do is assisting loved ones of people with addiction who often find themselves dealing with significant anxiety, depressive symptoms, and relationship difficulties.
