Welcome! If you’re feeling nervous as you’re thinking about starting this therapy journey, please know that this is a typical and expected experience. I am excited to meet you and work at a pace comfortable for you. I work with young adults and adults experiencing a variety of concerns. I am especially passionate about topics surrounding relational distress, whether it be romantic relationships, friendships, family challenges, or attachment concerns. I also enjoy working with maladaptive coping mechanisms (ie: substance use, risky behaviors, procrastination) to explore the root cause of distress and develop healthier alternatives. I will provide you with psychoeducation, giving you the tools and empowerment to make sense of your own experiences. I find value in a person-centered and strengths-based approach, with additional strategies of motivational interviewing, psychodynamic and ACT.
