Are you looking for someone that feels a sense of alignment with a strength-based and person-centered approach when it comes to therapy? I want clients to be in the driver's seat of their therapy plan, while we explore healing together. When working with children, I like to take a lot of input from their families and work together as a team to help the family unit thrive. I thoroughly enjoy working with children and families and have been teaching parenting education to families for 4 years, working on strengthening family bonds and healing from trauma. This includes helping adults heal from childhood traumas. Life can be tough and sometimes, the best way to navigate it is with a little bit of humor and self-compassion. Before I became a therapist, I was a foster care caseworker for 7 years and worked with so many families on repairing family dynamics, helping strengthen families in healing, and helping others build new families.
