Welcome! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker located within the village of Kenmore. I have experience in working with teens, college-aged young adults, and adults. I understand that seeking help can be difficult initially or even fear-inducing. I strive to make it a priority to create a comfortable environment to explore stressors that may be related to anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, depression, grief and loss, or other life adjustments. I utilize a client-centered approach to provide psychotherapy incorporating skills of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention and Solution-Focused Therapy. I find value and importance of incorporating self-compassion into our work together. Often anxiety and depressive disorders, as well as life stressors can cause us to be our own worst enemy or think negatively about ourselves. Learning to care for ourselves while being kind can help immensely.
