Understanding your journey can be both empowering and scary. What we resist may seem to persist, so let’s use it! On my first day of college, I was asked to define what therapy means and learned it to be simply this; It is the safest place for someone seeking help to feel uncomfortable at their most vulnerable time. My approach as a therapist is to help my clients gain insight, challenge negative thoughts/behaviors and find purpose in life while promoting an empathetic, genuine, and inclusive process.
