My name is Dr. Amanda Carter, and I am a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in the testing and evaluation of children and teens. I offer comprehensive evaluations which provide families a holistic picture of their child and how their symptoms, learning, development, and emotions all connect. I want you to leave the evaluation process feeling like your child was really seen and that you have a deeper understanding of how their mind works. I am also the clinical director of a training program, through which I supervise advanced doctoral students in assessment and therapy (who accept low-cost referrals). How do I know which parenting strategies will be effective for my child? My evaluations can also help to clarify complex symptom pictures for children who may have seen multiple providers and received conflicting information.
