Ever feel like you're the therapist in your own family? I see you. I’m a bilingual Latina therapist in NJ passionate about breaking the stigma around mental health in the Latino community. Growing up as a second-generation Ecuadorian, I know the love and traditions family brings and the complicated dynamics too. I understand the guilt trips, the pressure to make everyone happy, and the struggle of wanting to honor culture while breaking unhealthy patterns. I work with adults and couples navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, stress, grief, life transitions, and relationship issues. My approach integrates CBT, psychodynamic therapy, solution-focused techniques, and trauma-informed care. In couples therapy, I use the Gottman Method to help partners strengthen trust, intimacy, and communication.
