Hi! I am Amanda, a therapist that works with Silver River Counseling. I have a passion for helping children, adolescents, and adults repair and strengthen relationships. I view things through an Adlerian (Individual Psychology) lens and believe strongly in building an egalitarian relationship in the therapeutic process. Everyone processes their life experiences differently, so I develop an individualized approach tailored to what you or your child may need. Whether you are seeking supervision, consultation, or need a therapist to help you navigate through the challenges of being a helper, I am here. As a Registered Play Therapist- Supervisor, I use the evidence-based approaches Adlerian Play Therapy and Child Parent Relationship Therapy to help strengthen relationships and reduce both internalizing and externalizing symptoms. Helping helpers is another area that I specializes in, I am drawn to providing support and encouragement to fellow therapists.
