Dr. Kaplan specializes in treating adolescents and adults for eating disorders, anxiety and obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD). She has experience working with athletes experiencing anxiety and disordered eating. Dr. Kaplan also assists individuals in working through past traumatic events and other co-occurring mental health conditions. Dr. Kaplan also has the capacity to offer telehealth services to individuals and families in Arizona. Dr. Kaplan is trained in a multitude of evidence-based treatment modalities for eating disorders, anxiety, OCD, and trauma. She offers the following modalities: Family-Based Therapy (Maudsley), Emotion-Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), Exposure With Response Prevention, CBT, ACT, RO-DBT, DBT and EMDR.
