What a brave decision to begin looking for help to change things in your life and you've already accomplished one of the first steps- deciding to do something about it! If you are willing to do the honest & sometimes uncomfortable work for yourself, change is possible & could mean I'm the therapist for you. This means being gently challenged on distorted thought processes and learning to look within at the self in ways that are hard, but necessary for growth and healing. I am just a person, like you; however I have gained experiences, skills, and knowledge in assisting those who want to help themselves to gain insight, learn coping skills, and process events that are keeping them stagnant. I have worked in many settings including inpatient and outpatient treatment and use a variety of therapeutic modalities.
