Do you feel crippled by anxiety, fear, or grief? Do you often feel stuck in the same unhealthy patterns? I truly believe that great healing can emerge when you allow yourself to be open to learning and exploring new ways of coping with difficult life experiences. Making the decision to begin counseling is the first step in your journey towards understanding your pain and finding fulfillment and purpose in your life. I specialize in working with eating disorders, anxiety, depression, substance abuse, trauma, sexuality, and grief. I also have extensive experience working with first responders and their families. Counseling is a personalized process that looks different for each client that walks in my door. During sessions I may utilize Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Solution Focused, and Psychodynamic approaches. I am also trained in conducting voluntary and court ordered substance abuse evaluations.
