Hi I am Amanda Wittmer, I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Art Therapist based in Illinois. I provide a culturally sensitive and trauma informed approach to therapy to provide empathy, understanding and a safe space for you to process your experiences through talk therapy or art making. I have worked with a variety of clients, including those that have experienced anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, life transitions, relational issues and trauma including sexual, childhood and religious trauma. My hope is to be able to help those of you who are experiencing difficulties to find ways to cultivate change and address your issues in a non-judgmental and safe environment. Often these experiences can be hard to process alone, and I am here to provide a safe space for processing and building the tools to assist in handling responses to stress and trauma.
