My philosophy of therapeutic work is that you are the expert of your experiences and I simply serve as a guide throughout your journey. I am honored to be in a position where I have the privilege of supporting my community in achieving their goals. This work is a partnership between you and me (maybe even my corgi who makes few appearances and adheres to HIPAA, not to worry). - I partner with a diverse set of individuals, and couples, wanting to work on identity exploration, multicultural acceptance and integration, relationship and intimacy challenges, and generational trauma. Changes are inevitable, transitions are psychological. When partnering with me, I employ a culturally competent, sex positive, directive, and goal-oriented model with individuals, and couples, striving for success and connectedness at all levels of life. The lack of feeling "accepted in society" can cause elevated feelings of anxiety, regret, and shame that impact day-to-day life and interpersonal relationships.
