Hello, I'm Amber, a counselor at NewPoint of View Counseling. I hold an MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grand Canyon University and am deeply passionate about mental health advocacy and lifelong learning. At the heart of my practice is the belief that everyone deserves to feel valued and heard. I strive to create an inclusive, accepting, and judgment-free space where clients can safely explore their emotions and experiences. With hands-on experience working with diverse populations, I am also trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I am also trained in Gottman Level 1 and Level 2, equipping me with specialized techniques to help couples strengthen their relationships and communication. These evidence-based approaches enhance my ability to provide comprehensive and effective support. I specialize in helping individuals navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges.
