Depression goes deeper than sadness. Anxiety goes beyond just nervousness. Trauma goes beyond just life events. Substance Abuse impacts individual lives and family lives. We need help navigating life at times. Everyone has an innate ability to find the answers that are contributing to or causing depression, anxiety and so forth, and sometimes we need help to find these. This is where therapy can come into play and help us discover and/or recover ourselves. Through increased positive communication, with self and others, and healthy boundaries we can change the way we feel and think to gain more satisfaction and joy in our lives.
